OUR MINISTRIES

"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." —1 Thessalonians 5:16-17

New Hope UMC currently has two active Bible studies.

The first is held on Sunday mornings before worship, at 9:15am in the narthex. It is led by Jerry Mason. The lessons change seasonally: September-December, and January-May..

The second is held on Thursday evenings at 6:00pm in the Wesley Hall Prayer Room and on Zoom. This study is led by the pastor from September to May.

We have a very active United Women in Faith group that meets every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 2:00pm in the Wesley Hall Prayer Room running from September to May.

We supply pillows for breast cancer patients. For more information, or if you would like to get involved with this ministry, please contact the church secretary.

We have added T-Coil to our high-tech sound system to assist the hearing-impaired. Accessibility is very important to us. For more information on this important ministry, or if you need assistance with hearing for an enjoyable worship experience, please contact the pastor.

We are NARCAN-certified, meaning we are able to help those struggling with opioid addiction. If you, or someone you know, is struggling with opioid addiction, and would like assistance, please contact the pastor, and he will be able to help you.

We have an active prayer chain. Prayer is a part of who we are here at New Hope. If you need prayer, or would like for us to pray for a friend or loved one, please contact the pastor, and we will pray for you.

We believe visiting the sick and elderly is an important mission of the church. It helps aid the ill, the lonely, and abandoned in their recovery.
